They let so many iconic places in Perth fall by the wayside. If losing Cinema City wasn&#39;t bad enough, now the most sacred of all, Perth Entertaiment Centre. The dickheads build a performing arts venue in Northbridge, which from street view, looking at it reminds me of sitting too close to the screen at the movies when they could have transformed PEC into that and kept a valuable piece of Perth&#39;s history. Those were the best days for basketball in WA. Just a big barn, but with lots of little rooms tucked away around the rim of the arena, offices, kitchens, storerooms full of old props and rigging gear...at least when I worked there.
