It was such a bummer that fancy casinos have a dress code. I was glad a friend introduced me to partycasino.com, an online casino. Now I can play Blackjack and European Roulette all night wearing just a simple shirt and shorts. I would rather play games on this casino site, and spend my winnings on traveling and shopping instead of buying a formal outfit for a night at a land-based casino. Glasgow seems to have rubbed off its magic on me because I took home double of what I spent when I joined the casino tournament at PartyCasino. My jealous friend said I had “beginner’s luck” because he had been playing for almost a year now and never won any tournaments. Well, I guess my lucky shorts won me that game then.
Now that I have more money to spend on my holiday in Glasgow, I was able to tour the city and see some of its beautiful attractions such as the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, Titan Clydebank, St. Andrew’s Cathedral, and The Tall Ship. For an “out-of-this-world” experience, make sure to visit the Glasgow Science Centre, where there are many fascinating things to see, like “The Sky Tonight”—a live star show, and “Shiny Time”. The planetarium was my favorite place in the Science Centre because it feels somewhat relaxing to stare at the star-studded sky.
Speaking of relaxation, my friend and I enjoyed a cup of tea at the Willow Tea Rooms. It was the perfect refuge after a tiring day of sightseeing. We felt like we were back in time because of the tea room’s art deco design. Aside from their wide selection of teas, Willow Tea Rooms also has a restaurant called Anne’s Kitchen, which serves sandwiches and goodies. Their meringues were simply to-die-for. I emailed my friend from Glasgow recently to send me some meringues this Christmas season. I just hope he sends me a bunch so I can munch on those sweet goodies while playing my favorite games online.
